Tilemaster lab team grows by three
Tilemaster has appointed three new members to its growing lab team, at its UK manufacturing plant in Leyland, Lancashire. Melissa Peet and Stuart Forkin join as Quality Control Technicians, and Usman Rasul joins as Development Chemist.
In their new roles, Melissa and Stuart will be responsible for the analysis and testing of raw materials and finished goods. They will ensure that materials meet strict product performance and EN standards.
New Development Chemist, Usman will assist in the control of product formulations, and the quality check/control of raw and finished material to ensure compliance. He will also evaluate alternate technologies and raw materials to continue a path of continuous improvement, and will play a key role in the development of new Tilemaster systems.
“In the last three years, our range of tile adhesives, grouts and levelling compounds has grown quite significantly with two new smoothing compounds launching this autumn. Now, with Melissa, Stuart and Usman on board, we’ll have a greater capacity in our laboratory which will enable us to carry out an increased amount of quality control testing and also to continue innovating and developing new products and systems for the future,” explained Managing Director, Mark Kelly.
