Tilemaster launches new neutral-cure Silicone 3000+

Tilemaster Adhesives has developed a new neutral-cure formulation for its popular range of silicones.  New Silicone 3000+ now provides a premium anti-mould solution that can be used with acid-sensitive stone, as well as porcelain and ceramics.  Other improved features include enhanced adhesion properties and increased flexibility.  The new formulation is now also available in 14 shades, to colour-match Tilemaster’s extended Grout 3000 range.

New Silicone 3000+ is a premium neutral cure sealant that creates a long lasting watertight seal and protects against mould growth.  It has a flexible, smooth consistency that’s very easy to apply and clean off, and a solvent-free formulation for a safe application.   Its non-staining, pH neutral formulation makes the sealant suitable for natural stone, including granite and marble, as well as ceramics, wood, PVC and glass surfaces.  The formulation also removes the unpleasant vinegar-like scent associated with acid-based silicones.

Silicone 3000+ is suitable for commercial and domestic applications, internally and externally - from industrial kitchen to wet room. After application, it forms a skin within 30-60 minutes (at 20°C), sets after 24 hours at a 3mm depth and is watertight after three days.  Reference materials include a new combined A4 Silicone 3000+ & Grout 3000 colour chart, with silicone ‘blobs’, removable grout strips, and clear, concise product information.

Silicone 3000+ conforms to BS EN 15651-3, Class XS 1.
