Tilemaster subfloor specified at Vauxhall showroom
A Tilemaster subfloor system has been installed as part of an extensive refurbishment project at Vauxhall’s Wilson & Company dealership, on Manchester Road, Bolton. Installed by Standish-based PKJ Flooring, the specification comprised of four products, including Tilemaster’s new rapid-set screed, Pro Flow. Tilemaster was specified to provide a smooth and level subfloor throughout the 1031 sqm showroom, which promoted a fast and straightforward tile application.
During the renovation, existing flooring was removed and the original concrete base was abraded and then pre-smoothed with latex-based, moisture-tolerant Tilemaster Pro Flow. Tilemaster’s solvent-free One Coat DPM was then applied, ahead of a one coat application of Tilemaster Prime + Grip. The multi-purpose, ready mixed primer provided a textured “+ Grip” surface with superior bond enhancing properties. The final product - Tilemaster Fineflow 3000 - was then applied using a PFT G5 pump. The protein-free system is cement based and provides a strong even finish, allowing for ceramic fixing after just three hours.
