Tilemaster smooths the way for Mystique Flooring at Lyons Winkups
Tilemaster Trade Flow has been specified for a vinyl project at Lyons Winkups Holiday Park in North Wales. The installation within Winkups Coffee Lounge was carried out by Rhyl-based Mystique Flooring. It features Polyflor Affinity255 PUR luxury vinyl tiles, laid in a chevron and random straight-lay format.
Located in the heart of seaside resort town, Towyn, Winkups is one of ten resorts owned by the Lyons Group; a family-run business set up in 1925. The group's locations include ten holiday parks throughout North Wales, two restaurants and luxury hotels and a holiday homes showground.
During the refurbishment, Tilemaster's multiple-purpose Trade Flow - a two-part latex-based floor smoothing compound - was installed by Lee from Mystique Flooring throughout the cafe area; it provided "excellent flow properties" and benefits including moisture tolerance, low-odour and 'walk-on' after just two hours. Polyflor Affinity255 PUR tiles were then laid, including Smoked Walnut in a chevron pattern throughout the main walkway, Dappled Oak throughout three seating areas and Planed White Oak in the coffee bar area, each in a straight lay format.
