High coverage, tolerant solution with Tilemaster One Coat DPM
Tilemaster’s One Coat DPM provides a high coverage, solvent-free solution for a range of substrates – from sand and cement, to ‘wet’ underfloor heating systems. The two-component epoxy is suitable for new and existing screeds, with up to 97% relative humidity. It offers high-bond strength and is also resistant to grease, oil, dilute mineral and organic acids.
One Coat DPM is a two-component epoxy with a natural, pigment-free composition for increased coverage. In addition to standard conditions, it can also be used to deal with damp substrates, where a structural DPM isn’t present or is ineffective. Where there is no structural membrane, the product should be applied as a two-coat system. Once cured, the epoxy produces a membrane that can accommodate up to 97% RH on cement based screeds and 87% RH on anhydrite/calcium sulphate screeds, without resulting in bond strength issues.
The versatile epoxy has a straw/amber tone and is available in easy to use 3kg and 10kg drums. At 20°c, it provides a working time of approximately 45 minutes and a cure time of between 16-24 hours.
