Envira Floors choose Tilemaster for perfectly prepared floors
Tilemaster Adhesives Professional Flooring products were chosen by Envira Floors who were the flooring contractors for Absolute Commercial Interiors when they were commissioned to design and develop Curve Digital’s new offices in Nottingham.
The project involved smoothing and levelling approximately 500m² of concrete screed, for which Envira Floor used Pro Flow applied over a coat of Prime Plus. Pro Flow is a rapid setting, high performance, double component smoothing and levelling compound. It has excellent flow and adhesion properties making it suitable for a wide range of both domestic and commercial applications on most substrates. It can be applied from depths of 2mm – 12mm in one application and is ready to receive resilient floor coverings after 4 hours. The subfloor required smoothing with a coat of compound at about 6mm depth to level it out in some areas.
Tilemaster Feather was also used for areas that required small blemishes to be smoothed before the flooring was installed. Feather is an ultra-fine rapid drying product that can be used for patching and feathering depressions, trowel marks and so on. It can be used in depths between featheredge and 3mm.
The sub floor preparation took around 2 days to complete, allowing Envira Floors to finish the flooring well within the ten day window that they were given.
