Tilemaster shortlisted in four TTA Award categories
Tilemaster has been announced as a finalist in four categories of The Tile Association Awards 2018. They include Best Innovation, Employee of the Year and Best Commercial Project, in the Small and Large categories. Overall winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner on 18 May; this will follow The Tiling Show where Tilemaster will be demonstrating its new Magix range of adhesives.
Joining the coveted Best Innovation shortlist, Tilemaster has been recognized for its 'handles on bags' design; a seemingly small detail that is neither gimmicky or highly engineered, yet it receives wide-spread praise from the industry for its practical, as well as health and safety benefits.
In the Employee of the Year category, Tilemaster's first and original Area Sales Manager - Dale Metcalfe - joins three other industry finalists. Dale embodies Tilemaster's ethos, values and commitment to its customers and, in spite of the firm's 'non-selling' approach, his sales record is outstanding; testament to Dale's genuine commitment and loyalty.
Within the project categories, Tilemaster partnered with Roccia, in its nomination of the stunning Accrington Mosque and Community Centre, and Penrith Tiles' for its showcase installation at The Fitz Hotel in Cockermouth. Both have been shortlisted as finalists and feature Tilemaster adhesives, smoothing compounds, grouts and silicones.
