Tilemaster levels and fixes for Penrith at Carleton Manor Park
Penrith Tile Centre Ltd has completed a second stunning project for Cumbrian Homes, using a range of Tilemaster Adhesives' products. In this latest development, at Carleton Manor Park, Penrith designed and installed all tiled spaces throughout the Manor's nine luxury apartments and their communal areas. Surfaces specified included 450x450mm Carrera Grey marble-effect tiles, with Planked Porcelain black border feature tiles. Tilemaster Rapid Level 30 was used to prepare and level substrates - to give a seamless finish that was tile-ready within 60 minutes. Tilemaster Anti-fracture Mat was also specified, to provide extra stability and to absorb movement under the tiled surfaces. For fixing, the Tilemaster specification included Trade Flexi Rapid adhesive and Grout 3000, in a mid-grey tone.
Carleton Manor Park is set in the heart of the Eden Valley, with views to the Pennines and Lake District fells. It includes luxury new homes throughout the 'Manor' building, two flanking buildings to either side and further detached properties. During planning phase site visits, John Williams from Penrith Tiles measured and assessed the Manor installation areas, ensuring that all materials specified complied with current legislation.
All interior designs were created by Penrith-based Satu Interiors; the mono-toned scheme reflects the buildings' grandeur, with stainless steel finishes combining with contemporary floral wall finishes, and softened with sumptuous fabrics. The striking grey veining of the Carrera porcelain and black borders perfectly reflect the colour scheme and glamorous interior style.
